In addition to his ministry here, he is a writer and serves as an adjunct professor at Spring Arbor University.
Phil and his wife Carol have three children: Bekah, a Music Therapist working in Monticello, New York. She is married to Scott; Nate, a grad student at Western. He is married to Jen; and Caitlin, a seventh grader in Jackson Public Schools. He and Carol look forward to becoming grandparents for the first time this August.

Little Known Fact: I used to be a DJ at an FM radio station. The company also owned an AM station. One day an AM personality got sick at the last minute and they were in a jam and called me. So for one horrendous day of my life I was a Country Western disc jockey!
